Back to School

Hey!

School began this week for the kids around here.  Hardly seems fair, I don't think school should start until September.  The first of August is still summer.  I'm sure I could get several of those precious young things to agree with me and, truth be told, some of their teachers.

Me -- first grade

Back to school means stores stocked full with new and wonderful school supplies. I love walking down the aisles and checking out the new paper, pen, and folder options.  The start of a new year is filled with hopeful possibility and the anticipation of learning something new.   There is something nostalgic and rather romantic about a bouquet of freshly sharpened pencils on a teacher's desk.  Just reading the words  freshly sharpened pencils, can't you smell them?

I'm always in search for the perfect pen.  I like a pen that has a cushion on it and isn't too narrow.  I found these PaperMate Ink Joy pens and I'm feeling some ink joy!

They write super smooth and dry quick.  The pen diameter fits nicely in the hand without having to scrunch up your fingers which is important for me because my hands don't work like they used to.  Mine came from Target but this pack sells for $6.99 on Amazon.  Check them out and see if you, too, feel some Ink Joy.

Next week, I can't wait to share with you a project I've been working on for quite some time.  I will also be revealing the After on my second project!  -- see the Before shot here .

Blessings,

Mimi
